Ultreyas

THE ULTREYA (Spanish word meaning Onward) is the larger Cursillo community.  It is the time for the members of the Group Reunions to meet with members of other Group Reunions.

The Ultreya is also beneficial in providing the support and encouragement that each of us needs.

This is done through group sharing of our Piety, Study, and Action.

All Ultreyas meet once per month as indicated.

NOTE: Before each Ultreya you will be sent an email as a reminder to attend the Ultreya, along with the address and Witness Speaker.  Remember, as part of your Fourth Day, it is important to “stay connected” with the Metuchen Cursillo Movement, and make every effort to attend an Ultreya.

The following Ultreya is held each month.  Please stay tuned for more information as new Ultreya locations are added.

SOMERSET HILLS DEANERY ULTREYA

St. Bernard of Clairvaux
500 US 22 East, Bridgewater NJ
Meets:  2nd Saturday of the Month
Time:  9:30 AM (following 9:00 Mass)

What is Group Reunion?

Cursillo provides a community of friends who help strengthen each other’s growth in faith and life in grace. We continue to support you after making a Cursillo weekend as you develop your own special gifts through Group Reunion.  The Group Reunion is a small group of Cursillo friends that meet on a regular basis to deepen their friendship. This meeting is often referred to as a Friendship Group Reunion. There are separate groups for men and for women.  Cursillo Sponsors will advise new Cursillistas of the opportunity to be welcomed at a local Group Reunion.
